Many international students might find US education expensive. By securing a scholarship, students can cut their overall expenses. There are many scholarship opportunities in the USA that an international student can avail. 

Government-funded scholarships:

Fulbright Foreign Student Program: This is among the most popular scholarships available to international students who want to study in the USA. By securing a Fulbright Foreign Student Program, an international student can study in the USA for a year or more. Students belonging to all fields other than medicine can apply for this scholarship. 

Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program: By securing this scholarship, international students can study in the USA for ten months. Remember that this scholarship does not fund degree qualification. Though, students can study and develop their skills at any institution in the USA.  

Non-governmental scholarships:

Civil Society Leadership Awards: This is a fully-funded scholarship for international students from entitled countries at the master-degree level.

Preply Scholarship: Both national, as well as international students are eligible for this scholarship. Students have to be aged between 16 to 35. To qualify for the scholarship, the students must share an essay comprising of 500 words related to multilingualism, personal development, and online education.

 Surfshark Privacy and Security Scholarship: Students belonging to all countries can apply for this scholarship. To qualify for the scholarship, the students are required to share an essay comprising 500 words. The winner receives an award of $2,000.

Tortuga Backpacks Study Abroad Scholarship: The winner of the scholarship receives an award worth US$1,000. This scholarship is available to international students from all countries across the world. 

Scholarships for Asian Students:

Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholarship Program: Under this scholarship, 11 exceptionally brilliant students from across the Asian region are selected to study at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. This scholarship covers the tuition fee of the course. 

East-West Center Scholarships and Fellowships: Students belonging to the Asia-pacific region are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship enables the students to study at certain institutions in the USA. 

Scholarships for Females Students:

AAUW International Fellowships: Female international students who want to study in the USA can apply for this scholarship scheme. 

Bat and Ball Game Women’s Sports Scholarship: Female students studying a sport-related degree in the USA can secure this scholarship. The winner receives an award of $1,000.

MIT-Zaragoza Women in Logistics and SCM Scholarship: Female students from any country worldwide can apply for this scholarship. The chosen candidate gets the chance to study at the Zaragoza Logistics Center at MIT.
